Man arrested for killing minor

The Central district Special Staff has apprehended the man accused of murdering a minor girl in Baljeet Nagar and poisoning her mother and brother before robbing their residence on August 16. Police said Prakash was the victim’s neighbour and was declared the main suspect after the mother of the deceased claimed he had drugged her and her two-and-a-half-year-old son by mixing sedatives in drink he had served them. Prakash was arrested from near Shadipur DTC bus depot on Thursday. Police said he was unemployed and in dire need of money,which is why he committed the crime.
