When Relais & Chateaux,a global luxury hospitality association launched in India last Thursday,big wigs from Delhi’s political and social circles got together,at a party hosted by Anjali and Jaisal Singh. Proprietors of hotels Sherbagh in Ranthambore and The Serai in Jaisalmer,the Singhs’ properties are the only ones in India to have been selected to be members of this prestigious association. One hundred Manganiar singers from Rajasthan livened up the evening with folk tunes while champagne flowed in pristine white tents put up for the occasion. Guests included P Chidambaram,Kapil Sibal,Nandan Nilekani,Bharti Kher,Subodh Gupta,Salman Kurshid,Sharmila and Tiger Pataudi,Montek Ahluwalia and Vasundhara Raje.
