After creating a splash at the Cannes where it premiered in the Un Certain Regard category in 2012 and the Mumbai Film Festival,the same year,where it won the best film in India Gold Section,Ashim Ahluwalias Miss Lovely is finally set for an India release in January 2014.

A drama set in the C-grade movie industry of Mumbai in the mid-80s,Miss Lovely follows the story of Vicky,a film producer of sleazy horror films and his brother Sonu. Sonu falls in love with a woman,who is sucked into the murky world of his brothers business. What follows is a story of the three characters caught amid thwarted ambitions,doomed love and jealousy.
