5-year-old found dead near home
A five-year-old boy,who went missing from near his house in Ambedkar Nagar two days ago,was found dead in Southeast Delhi on Sunday. Police said the family did not receive any ransom call. Sujal,a Class I student at a local government school,went to play near his home at 6 pm on Friday. When he did not return to his RPF Colony home that evening,his father Raju,a plumber by profession,approached the police. A kidnapping case was then registered at the Ambedkar Nagar police station. Police said the body was found in a park in the same area. Sujal’s throat had been slit with a sharp-edged weapon. The body has been sent for post mortem and investigations are being carried out.

Aspiring airhostess commits suicide
A 24-year-old girl,who had come to Delhi for airhostess training,committed suicide in Safdarjung Enclave on Sunday. According to the police,she did not leave any suicide note behind. Arpana Pandey (24),a native of Madhya Pradesh,had come to Delhi a week ago and was staying in a rented accommodation. “She had not taken admission into any airhostess institute yet,” said a police officer. Pandey’s family has been informed and her body kept in Safdarjung hospital.
