She considers herself lucky for clearing the audition and getting an opportunity to perform as the official DJ at the recently concluded Euro 2012 Championship Cup. It was the live-set I used during the audition that worked with the jury, recalls Ukraine-based Nastya Zoloto. She performed at all 31 matches in stadiums across Ukraine and Poland. Now,Zoloto is looking forward to her debut performance in India and hopes to strike a hit with the partygoers and surprise the audience with her energetic beats. After performing in Pune on Friday,she will head to Delhi on Saturday,followed by Indore on Sunday. The India tour will be followed by performances in Spain,France,Belgium and USA. My basic style of music is R&B but since I tour across Europe quite often,I understand the demand for commercial music. For instance,in the stadiums in Kiev and Warsaw,I remixed Euro-Pop with some all-time football hits, says Zoloto,adding that she cant stop humming the official anthem of the tournament,Endless Summer by Oceana. I thoroughly enjoyed working with Oceana on special tracks and remixes during the final matches at the Eurocup, says Zoloto,who indulges in the latest designs by top designers from world over. Interestingly,a standard condition that she has given to all her designers is that her clothes must be made golden. I get my name Zoloto from my fascination for the gold colour,which means golden in Russian, she explains.
