Music aficionados in the Capital are in for a week-long treat early next month,with the second edition of The Gig Week ready to kick up a storm. From September 2 to 8,various venues in the city will host bands from Delhi and outside as part of the festival. The 2012 line-up stays true to its 2011 concept of encouraging newer,younger bands,and well-known bands and artistes headlining each day. Younger musicians and outfits such as Kunal Dutta,Oblivate,Manta Sidhu,The Alibi,Urban Earlyman,Jester,Then & Now,Pilgrim,Mojojojo,Gaurav Uncle,The Fringe,Incredible MindFunk,Skip Bop Trip,Style Of Eye,Jordan Johnson and Ebonix will perform during The Gig Week. In case you want to skip to the popular ones,theres a lot of choice here as well Half Step Down,The Circus,Cyanide,White Beryl,FuzzCulture,Dualist Inquiry,Blackstratblues,Skrat,Barefaced Liar and Junkyard Groove. The gigs are smartly mapped around the city with several major venues such as Manajsa,Smoke House Grill,Verve,Lemp,Shroom,Blue Frog and SuraVie participating in the event.
