Fan falls in class,two students hurt

Riddhima Agarwal and Ashima Verma,15-year-old Class X students of Queen’s Mary School in North Delhi,were injured after a ceiling fan fell on them inside their classroom around 12.30 pm on Monday.

Riddhima sustained injuries on her head while Ashima hurt her shoulder. The two girls were rushed to the nearby St Stephen’s Hospital where Ashima was discharged after first-aid. Riddhima is still recuperating at the hospital.

“The incident was reported on Monday afternoon. But as no one has lodged any complaint,no case has been registered in this regard,” said a police officer. Deputy Commissioner of Police (North) Sagar Preet Hooda said the parents have not yet complained to them.
