The unveiling of Tods signature collection for Autumn-Winter 2012/13 at the Italian Embassy in Paris on March 5 had a surprise Bollywood guest. Actor Kangna Ranaut,who will be seen in Krrish 2 soon,attended the do dressed in a knee-length chocolate coloured suede coat teamed with black tights and pumps. She carried the brands envelope clutch in yellow which added a dash of colour to her look. Ranaut rubbed shoulders with A-listers like Monaco royal Andrea Casiraghi,British curator Alex Dellal,jewellery designer Jade Jagger,Italian fashion house heiress Margherita Missoni,socialite and actress Coco Brandolini DAdda,Greek socialite Eugenie Niarchos and American Vogue’s Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour. The evening was hosted by Diego Della Valle,president and CEO of Tod’s. Nicole Kidman,who looked lovely in an ochre and black dress,was the guest of honour at this celebration of Tods Signature Texture. The material of the collection represents luxury and Tods craftsmanship. The special effect inspired by Tods Gommino imprinted on the leather to match this perception to the design,is in keeping with the brands philosophy. The event also had a music performance by Parisian DJ Florinda Harvey and an exclusive dinner at the famous Restaurant Laperouse.
