Esha Deol Engaged

IN a private ceremony at Hema Malini’s Juhu residence on Sunday,Esha Deol,elder daughter of Hema and Dharmendra,got engaged to businessman Bharat Takhtani. The actor,who was recently re-launched in Tell Me O Kkhuda by her mother,who directed and produced the movie,had been dating Bharat for several years.

The preparations at the Juhu bungalow had been going on since Saturday and the exterior was decked up in floral arrangements. After the ceremony on Sunday afternoon,the couple,along with Hema,stepped out for the shutterbugs. While Esha was dressed in a lime green and pink sari,her fiance wore beige trousers with a white shirt and jacket. Hema looked elegant in a traditional yellow Kanjeevaram.

The ceremony was attended by close relatives. Dharmendra was present to bless the couple and posed for pictures too. Jaya Bachchan and Madhoo were the only two Bollywood celebrities at the engagement. The wedding date is yet to be finalised but Deol has maintained that she will continue to act in films after her marriage.
