In the video, the woman, a resident of Amrapali Leisure Valley, Bisrakh, Greater Noida West, claimed the restaurant, Lucknowi Kabab Paratha in Sector 2, sent her a non-vegetarian biryani even though she ordered a vegetarian biryani.
Alleging that this was done intentionally, the woman purportedly said, “…I also had one or two bites from it. I am a pure vegetarian and in Navratri, they have sent non-vegetarian biryani… They have done it knowingly.”
“Taking notice of the viral video, the Noida Police launched an investigation and called the restaurant staff for questioning,” Shakti Mohan Avasthy, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Central Noida, said.
“Acting on the basis of the complaint of the woman, the police registered an FIR and arrested Rahul Rajvanshi, a resident of Ecovillage-1 of Central Noida’s Bisrakh. A sample of the food has been sent to the food security officer for further investigation,” the Noida police said in an official statement.
