Deadlock ends, cross-LoC trade to resume

PoK authorities had suspended all trade and travel between the divided parts of Kashmir on January 17.

Indian and Pakistani authorities on Tuesday agreed to resume cross-Line of Control trade on the Srinagar-Muzaffarabad route from Thursday, a senior official said after a meeting Pok officials. PoK authorities had suspended all trade and travel between the divided parts of Kashmir on January 17 after India arrested a Pakistani truck driver whose truck was found to contain 114 packets of brown sugar.
