The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has invited applications for 800 permanent memberships at the Siri Fort Sports Complex (SFSC), one of the largest multi-sport facilities in the national capital. People can submit their applications only on the DDA website — http://www.dda.gov.in — from August 12 to September 11.

The memberships are being offered under four categories — 250 for government employees, 250 for non-government applicants, 150 for existing tenure members and 150 for associate members of the complex.

According to the DDA, if the number of applications exceeds the available slots, selections under the government and non-government categories will be made through a draw of computerised lots. For associate members, allotment will be based on seniority, while in the tenure member category, it will depend on the number of times an applicant has previously held such membership.

Recent additions include pickleball courts and a naturopathy wellness centre. The complex also has a café, and a fine-dining restaurant is expected to open next month.

DDA officials said that permanent memberships for the SFSC are being opened after a gap, following “persistent demand from the fitness and sports community”.

Apart from Siri Fort, the DDA operates 18 sports complexes, four mini sports complexes and three golf courses in Delhi. The authority said the expansion of access to the SFSC is part of its effort to “provide high-quality sports facilities for the public”.
