Dadwal reviews security set-up at Thyagaraj Stadium

A Day after reviewing the security arrangements at the Major Dhyan Chand and Talkatora stadiums,Delhi Police Commissioner Y S Dadwal visited the Thyagaraj Stadium in Lodhi Colony area of South Delhi on Sunday and spent two hours checking the security set-up.

A police officer at the Lodhi Colony police station said,“Dadwal checked the deputation of the security personnel as would be the case during the actual events during the Commonwealth Games.”

Deputy Commissioner Of Police (South) H G S Dhaliwal confirmed Dadwal’s visit. “He was happy with the arrangements,” Dhaliwal said.

Thyagaraj Stadium will be the venue for netball during the upcoming Games in October.

Officials said. “He made some suggestions for the arrangements.” Joint Commissioner Of Police (Southern range) Ajai Kashyap and Dhaliwal were among the police officers accompanying Dadwal.
