NSG commando commits suicide

Gurgaon : A National Security Guard (NSG) commando allegedly committed suicide at the Manesar camp by shooting himself at 7.10 pm,police said on Thursday. The victim,Surendra Singh,was a native of Hoshiarpur district in Punjab. He is survived by his wife and two sons. “It is still not clear why he took the extreme step as he did not leave a suicide note. We are investigating the incident,” said Maheswar Dayal,DCP (East) Gurgaon. A case has been registered at Manesar police station.
