A constable was injured when he was allegedly attacked by four drunk men while patrolling in Saket,South Delhi,on Wednesday.

Drunk men attack cop,chew off ear

NEW DELHI: A constable was injured when he was allegedly attacked by four drunk men while patrolling in Saket,South Delhi,on Wednesday. An accused allegedly chewed off one of the ears of constable Prem Kumar,when he tried to stop them from consuming alcohol in a public place. The constable was rushed to a hospital,where he was treated for his injury. Police have arrested one of the accused,identified as Devender alias Sonu.

Khan Market traders meet on NDMC decision

NEW DELHI: With the future of many Khan Market traders hanging in a balance,the traders association has decided to convene a meeting on the decision of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) to seal all second and third-floor commercial establishments in the area. The members also intend to meet the monitoring committee set up by the Supreme Court. The NDMC has already started sending out notices in this regard.
