Chetan helps FCI win

A fine knock by Delhi Ranji player Chetan Sharma (86 not out) and equally good bowling spell by left arm spinner Bharat Awasthi (3/21) enabled Food Corporation of India (F.C.I.) beat Tedco Group by 5 wickets to enter the pre-quarterfinal of the 21 st All-India Om Nath Sood Memorial Cricket Tournament being played at R.S.K.P.,Pitampura grounds.

Khalsa College win title

A match winning effort from Rahul Tewatia (95 runs in 44 balls) along with good contributions from Lokesh Sharma (58) and Kuldeep Hudda (3/30) helped Khalsa College beat Vidya Jain Academy by 31 run to win the title of 9 th R.C. Sharma Super Reebok Cup at Bharat Nagar Ground.

Ahmad hits 84,takes 3 wickets

Farman Ahmad (84 run and 3/44) came through with a fine all round display and his efforts along with those of Bhaskar Sharma (51),Rajat Bihani (35 runs and 3/37) helped Chand Khanna Club down Golden Hawks by 6 wickets to get four points in the DDCA League.

Half centuries by Amanjeet Singh (74) and Kshitij Sharma (65 n.o) helped N.K. Khanna Club successfully chase the 219-run target set for them and beat NSCC by 7 wickets. They now get four points in the DDCA League. Nitin Goyal’s century (110) for the NSCC went in vain.

RR Gymkhana enter semis

Fine batting by Rahul Yadav who hit a half century (63) and an equal contribution from Ankush Benz (66no) and Mohit Sharma who hit an unbeaten 9-ball 36 — that included three sixes and three fours helped Rohtak Road Gymkhana beat Uday Bhan cricket academy by 7 wickets. A four wicket haul from Abhinav Bali (4/29) and Deepak Sharma’s spell of two wickets helped the team enter the semi final of the 4th Ganga Open cricket tournament at Ganga School,Hiran Kudna.
