Love triumphs
Abeer (Gaurav Khanna) and Lehar (Yami Gautam),the love birds from Colors’ Yeh Pyaar Na Hoga Kam,are finally tying the knot against their families’ wishes. Abeer barges into Lehar’s wedding to Omi (Chandan Anand) and asks her to marry him instead. Although Leher initially decides to sacrifice herself at the altar of duty, good sense finally prevails and she marries Abeer. Of course,we already knew that because in life (read Indian television),love conquers all.

Mango mania
The latest episode of Lapataganj revolves around mangoes. Mukundilal (Rohitashv Gour) was watching over a box full of juicy Alphonso mangoes when Indumati (Sucheta Khanna),unaware of the situation, distributed all the mangoes to the residents of Lapataganj. The mango episode shoot took the longest to complete due to the mangoes disappearing after each take. “I just love mangoes and wish the fruit was available all year round,” said Gour. That makes two of us.
