Risky business
Manjot Singh of the Oye Lucky,Lucky Oye fame,is the youngest member of the band of boys on Fear Factor Khatron Ke Khiladi 3. We heard that after performing a particularly difficult stunt,he lost his consciousness. The dare involved diving into deep water with a temperature of about 3 degrees in the middle of the night and unlock some locks. Manjot daringly jumped into the water but lost his consciousness after the stunt. When he regained his consciousness,he started yelling for help in Punjabi,leaving the mostly Brazilian crew members clueless. If Manjot was taking the stunts lightly till now,were sure he wont continue to do so in the future.
The contest
Star Ones show Miley Jab Hum Tum has competition brewing on its sets. Apparently,the two lead actors Rati Pandey and Sanaya Irani are going all out to give their best performance on the show. The two ladies claim that they dont want to compromise on their performance since theyre both so involved with the show. Of course,healthy competition is very well,but all that the show requires in terms of acting is standing still so that the camera can gaze lovingly at each and every pore on the actors faces. So our question is by what standard exactly are they measuring their performances?
Weve heard of the punishing shooting schedules in the television industry,which is why it surprised us when we heard that Karan Grover was taking a 10 day break from his show Yahan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli to attend a cousins wedding in the US. It seems that the only reason the actor could take this unusually long holiday is because he had informed the production house six months in advance. So determined was Karan to take his holiday that because of some last-minute change to the script he had to shoot for 38 hours continuously. After all this hard work,the actor certainly deserves a break.
