When designer Samant Chauhan held a fashion show called Ethical Fashion Show at the Love Hotel,Ai,in Metropolitan MGF Mall on Thursday,Delhi’s high-profile names made their presence felt. “The term ethical refers to the cause espoused by me,promoting handloom cloth done by weavers,” explained Chauhan.

The runway was a strip of a red carpet and the models were visions of cream and white. Taking a shy turn were former Miss Delhi Ramneek Pental and socialite Thenny Maria,who was cheered loudly by friends as she spiritedly waved away zealous photographers treading on the red carpet. Designer Nida Mahmood came next,flashing a shy smile,while Sanjana Jon,sister of US-based designer Anand Jon,blinked at the cameras and turned back halfway. But it was FDCI honcho Sunil Sethi who did the class act,strutting in a Fedora hat and posing animatedly for the cameras. He acknowledged the cheers with a tip of his hat and then left the regular models,Amit Ranjan and Kabir Singh to finish the act.

Also spotted at the do were designer Nitin Bal Chauhan in a black tee and flamboyant restaurateur AD Singh nursing their beer.
