Hindustan FC to play Sesa Goa in I-League 2nd division opener
DSA league champions Hindustan Football Club will open its campaign against SESA,Goa in the inaugural match of 2nd Division League 2009-2010 scheduled to commence at Dr. Ambedkar Stadium from March 27 to April 15. In the second match of the day,New Delhi Heroes will take on Simla Youngs at 4.15 p.m.
Seven clubs Hindustan F.C.,New Delhi Heroes F.C.,Indian National F.C.,Amity United F.C.,Simla Youngs F.C.,SESA Goa,and ONGC will be taking part in Group B of the Delhi leg. The 2nd Division league matches will also be held at Bangalore and Tripura. Seven teams each will be participating in these two centres.
The top two teams of each centre will qualify for the final round to be played later on at Bangalore. Besides the six qualified teams of preliminary round,two of last years relegated teams of Premier I Division league,Mohammedan Sporting Club,Kolkata and Vasco Club,Goa will meet each other in final round of 2nd Division league. The top two teams of the final round will be promoted to the premier I-League for the next season in 2010-11.

Chouhan stars in win
Man of the match Sachin Chouhan scored 77 run and picked three wickets to help S M Arya Public school,Punjabi Bagh beat Hari Singh Academy by 7 wickets and enter the semi-finals of the 1st RSB u-14 cricket tournament.

Gulzaar came up with a one-man show,scoring a century and picking up four wickets to help S&S beat Hughes by a big margin of 209 runs and enter into the quarter-final of the 1st Agrim Sports Challenger tournament at D.Force ground,Najafgarh.

Majid Khan scored a century 103 Karan tyagi 4/32 Shivank vashist 3/29 helped Professional Management Group beat K.M. International School by 115 runs and get four point in the Radhey Kishan U-19 cricket tournament at Parmarth ground.
