Shivam Sharma (5/21) and Akshaydeep Pandey (3/10) shared eight wickets between them to help Vidya Jain Academy beat Sonnet Cricket Club by five wickets and enter the semi-finals of the GD Lancer cup Dynamic Sports under-19 cricket tournament at the Ambedkar ground.

Three-wicket hauls from Manik Khattar (3/37) and Yatin Malik (3/40) helped St. Mark Meera Bagh beat Bal Bharti Public School,Pusa Road by two wickets in the league match of the third Boost Cup Inter-school under-16 cricket tournament at the Vikaspuri ground. For Bal Bharti Public School,Nikunj Khandeklwal took four wickets (4/35) while Harkirat Singh took three (3/27)

England finish first
The 19 th Himalayan Run and Trek Event was completed successfully on October 30 with contestants from fifteen countries. Spain’s Gabriel Santamaria Manso won the 100 mile stage race with a time of 15 hrs 22 mins while the second and thirdspots were booked by James Antony Lowe of England and Korea’s Beungsik Ahn,respectively.

In the women’s section,England’s Charlotte Louisa Penfold finished first,followed by Spain’s Nahila Hernandez and England’s Tracey Robertson.

Joshi snares five
KN Joshi was adjudged man of the match for snaring five wickets for nine runs to help Airliner Academy beat Vidya Jain Academy. Sarvjeet Dubey (42) too played his role with the bat in the 15 run victory. Airliner got four points for the victory in the Bharti u-16 Twenty20 cricket tournament at the Bharti college ground janak puri.

Achiever Academy win
Sachin Bodh picked up three wickets for 10 runs to lead Achiever Academy’s victory against Mata Jai Kaur Academy by 2 runs in the Royal u-12 cricket tournament. Useful contributions by Ankit Chhilar (30) and Vaibhav Sehdev (32) helped the team’s cause. Bodh was awarded with the man of the match.

Notiyal scores half century
Vijeet Notiyal followed his half century knock in the first innings with 31 useful runs in the second innings to help Ekta Club beat Chand Khanna Club due to a first innings lead of 58 runs. Good batting by Himanshu Nehwal (46 and 28 n.o.) and fantastic bowling by Akash Sharma (4/45) gave the winning team four points in the DDCA U-16 Vijay Mehra cricket tournament at the Bharat Nagar ground.
