Abhishek Kapoor will lead a 14-member Delhi team announced on Sunday for their match against Andhra from Tuesday at the Roshanara cricket ground in the C.K. Nayudu U-22 Plate Group semi-final match. Dipesh snares four
Dipesh took four wickets (4/21) and his efforts with the ball along with those of Devinder Kumar (2/21),Parampreet Singh (50) and Mohd. Wasim (43) helped Dwarka Academy beat PCA Academy by 8 wickets in the 6th Radha Kishan U17 cricket tournament at Najafgarh ground.

Nuri cracks century
Thanks to an unbeaten century by F.M.Nuri (104 n.o),and a four wicket haul by Vijay (4/33),Rose India Academy registered a comprehensive 67 run victory over Jai Bharat Modern School in the Playwood Cup cricket tournament organised at the Ramjas Sports Complex.

Five wickets for rohit
Rohit Kumar completed a five wicket haul (5/16) while Prashant contributed a matchwinning 48 in a low scoring match as Ghaziabad Wonder Academy beat Gilsten Cricket Academy by 74 run to enter the final of the 1st Delhi Champion League cricket tournament underway at Noida Sports Complex.

Balaji Academy win
Although the match proved to be a close one,fifties by Shivam Gupta (65),Neeraj Vats (60 n.o) and Jagdeep Saroha (55 n.o) helped Balaji Academy defeat Shine Star Academy by 2 wickets in the Parmarth U-14 cricket tournament at Parmarth ground. Chasing 190,Balaji Academy lost eight wickets before overhauling the mark .

Mont Fort impressive
In the ongoing Ramjas Basketball tournament,Mont Fort School,Ashok Vihar beat Gyan Mandir,Naraina by 39 points to 16,while in other matches Sachdeva Public School,Pitampura beat Bal Bharti school Pitampura 43-31. Earlier Mont Fort,Ashok Vihar had beaten Bal Bharti,Rohni 29-16,while Bal Bharti,Pitampura beat Ramjas School by a margin of 34-22.

Close shave for Howra
Anmol Katyal’s knock of 70 which helped him win the Man of the Match award did not prove to be enough to prevent Howra Union from emerging triumphant by a narrow margin of 10 runs over MRV Academy in the MRV Festival Cup at MRV School Dwarka. For the winners,Jamir Ahmed (54) and Amir (34) were vital contributors.

Football tourney kicks off
Twenty-eight (28) school football teams will be participating in the North/Central Zone leg of the Delhi Soccer Association (DSA ) Coca Cola Inter-school football tournament starting from the 16th of November. The tournament which will end on November 21 will be held at Sector 26,Rohini,Shahbad,Daulatpur to spot talent for Mir Iqbal Hussain Trophy- Sub-Junior National -2010/2011.
