Half century by Pradeep Malik (65) doubled with a five wicket haul by Jerry Stephen (5/18) helped Green Field Academy beat Khalsa Cricket Academy by 109 runs in the 5 th Sharma Sports KP Trophy U-19 cricket tournament. Batting first,Green Field Academy posted a total of 201 in 30 overs with Pradeep Malik scoring the bulk of the runs. In reply,KCA could only muster 92 runs.

Cricket tourney from today
The 1st Rajeev Gandhi Memorial T-20 cricket tournament will start from August 18 at DDA Ground Bank Enclave,Laxmi Nagar ground. Six teams will be participating in the tournament. Inaugural match will be played between Sonnet and KN Colts. The final is scheduled to be played on August 21.

Dolima to lead Delhi
Mid-fielder Dolima Chibber will lead a 20-member Delhi State team in the 7th Girls Sub-Junior National Football Championship-2010 scheduled to begin at Haldwani in Uttrakhand from August 19 to September 4. Delhi has been clubbed with Pondicherry and Sikkim in Cluster-II and will open its campaign against Sikkim on August 21.
