Nokia Hero Honda Campus Rock Idols (CRI) is calling all bands to battle it out once again. CRI has struck a chord with rock music lovers at the campus level and one of the highlights has been entries from all corners of the country,with bands singing in their local language, says T Venkat Vardhan,MD,DNA Networks,who has conceptualised the event that began in 2004. This year,the event has included Chennai and Indore on the list of 10 cities it will be travelling to. While the Delhi leg is scheduled for January 31,the winners of the four zones will compete in Hyderabad on February 7. The winning bands of previous years had performed alongside international rock acts such as The Rasmus,Bryan Adams and Iron Maiden. The winners will also get a chance to open for Rock n India,an international rock music festival to be held later this year.
