Last week,Delhi ‘s swish set gathered at the plush boutique Kenzo in Emporio mall,to mix business with charity. Designers Preeti Chandra and Ranna Gill,cigar baron Chetan Seth,socialite Shalini Passi,and Ruby Dhalla,an MP from Canada ,celebrated the launch of limited edition notebooks. Proceeds from the sale would go to a Kolkata-based charity,Tomorrow’s Foundation,which works for the rehabilitation of orphan girls in Chhattisgarh and street children in Kolkata.

The do was hosted by TV personality Neeva Jain and Sanjay Kapoor ,MD of Genesis Luxury. “I believe in the work done by the charity,” said Jain. The limited edition books are bound in exclusive prints from the Kenzo Autumn-Winter 2009 runway collection. They also feature a hand-drawn sketch by Kenzo’s creative director Antonio Marras and have been produced by children and young adults who are associated with Tomorrow’s Foundation Card Project (TFCP). The notebooks are pegged at Rs 1,700 and made up to a limited edition of 55.
