Passenger hold-ups continued at the Indira Gandhi International Airport with the Air India cancelling 12 flights on Thursday. While the airline officials called them “planned cancellations”,they said the huge passenger backlog in Delhi would take another two days to clear.

Tougher exit checks at terminals
Cautious about the increasing instances of people entering terminal buildings at the IGI Airport with the help of forged e-tickets,the CISF has tightened screening at the terminals’ entry gates. Legal action has been taken against seven persons,including two foreigners,who have been booked for trespassing using forged documents in the last fortnight.
