MHA officer’s house burgled
The house of a Home ministry officer was ransacked in Sarojini Nagar. Brahm Prakash is away to Amarnath yatra with his family. On Friday morning,a neighbour found that the back door of the house was open and informed the police. Police said they have informed Prakash and exact value of the missing items would be ascertained on his return.

CAG to submit report on private schools
The Delhi High Court on Friday asked the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) to place before it the report prepared last year after auditing the accounts of city’s 25 private unaided schools including DPS (R K Puram),Modern School (Barakhamba Road) and the Amity International.

Property dealer’s body found
The body of a 48-year-old property dealer was found at the banks of Yamuna on Thursday evening. Satpal Dudeja was missing from his East Delhi’s Gandhi Nagar residence since Monday morning,said the police. The family accused his elder son for the murder. The body has been sent for post mortem.

AIIMS to construct shelter for patients
AIIMS counsel informed a Delhi court on Friday that it intended to construct a ‘dharamshala’ near its building for the outstation patients. In the proposed plan,there would be rooms and halls with a capacity of at least 100 beds,the counsel said.
