Blueline hits scooter,two dead,one hurt
Two men died and one was injured when a speeding Blueline bus (Route No 507) hit the scooter they were travelling on near the Moolchand underpass on on Wednesday morning. According to the police,the bus driver and conductor fled the spot while the vehicle has been impounded. The scooterists,who are cousins,were reportedly going towards INA market where they worked as parking attendents. The three were rushed to the AIIMS Trauma Centre where Puran,23,and Dinesh,18,were declared brought dead,while Laxmi Narain,24,was said to be out of danger. A case under Section 304 A (causing death by negligence) has been registered at the Defence Colony police station.
Garbage dumper kills one,injures another
Gurgaon: A speeding garbage dumper killed one MTech student and injuredanother here in Gurgaon on Wednesday afternoon. The duo,Anita and Ashish,were on a scooter when the garbage dumper hit them and dragged them for few metres before stopping. 22-year-old Anita,who was selected to be a pilot with the Indian Airforce and was to join in July,died on her way to the Colombia Asia hospital. Ashish,23,is in a critical condition in the ICU of the hospital. A case has been registered,but no arrests have been made till now,said the police.
Dutchman found dead at YMCA hostel
A foreigner was found dead in tourist hostel of the YMCA on Wednesday in New Delhi district. Albertusgerrit Jantenkaink,51,was a Netherlands national and his body was found in a highly decomposed state. It bore no injury marks,and the police said it seemed to be a natural death. The body has been sent to Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital for postmortem. Jantenkaink had come to Delhi on June 21 and stayed in room number 636 in YMCA hostel at Jai Singh Road. Officials said the Embassy has been informed about the death.

The government is also making arrangements to make available the registered document the same day.
No strike,NDPL workers assure court
The workers of North Delhi Power Ltd (NDPL) assured the Delhi High Court on Wednesday that they will not resort to any form of strike from July 1 as their employer had agreed to discuss their demands. Among other demands,the workers have been insisting on compensatory appointments for all dependents of deceased employees. Hearing the petition filed by the discom,the court has now asked both the parties to sit together on July 5 and discuss the issues.
