New Delhi:A day after a clash broke out between two communities in Nangloi in West Delhi over an alleged incident of molestation,16 people have been arrested on charges of rioting and damaging public property. According to police,Mukesh,Sohan,Satpal,Rahul,Ashok,Vikas,Gyan,Suraj,Riyasat Ali,Mohammed Hafiz,Mohammed Kalim,Mohammed Asif,Sadab,Anwar,Nafeez and Wasim,were arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by one of the constables injured in the attack.

Former govt official gets 4-year jail for forgery

New Delhi:A CBI court on Wednesday sentenced a former senior official of the Department of Higher Education to four years in jail for submitting forged bills. The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1 lakh on Dr Ram Krishna Mishra,former Assistant Director of Commission of Scientific and Technical Terminology,after holding him guilty of submitting forged bills of over Rs 87,000 to the department.
