Ankit,Siddarth star in RCA XI victory

Ankit Lamba’s unbeaten 80 and man-of-the-match Siddarth Joshi’s 79 helped Rajasthan Cricket Association beat DDCA President’s Xi by 8 wickets in the league match of the 34th Lala Raghubir Singh hot weather cricket tournament at Modern School ground.

Opting to bat first,DDCA XI scored a modest 219 for 6 in 40 overs with Vaibhav Rawal scoring a sedate 56 from 71 balls with three boundaries. Dhruv Shorey contributed with 43, while Sandeep Raj Kaushik and Pawan Negi provided the late onslaught. In reply RCA achived the target with relative ease,finishing the chase with four overs and eight wickets to spare.
