In his complaint, Bajrangi said that he received a tip-off and followed a vehicle near Alhadadpur village. He alleged that the vehicle driver tried to run him over when he tried to stop the vehicle.

In his complaint, Bajrangi said that he saw seven decapitated cows inside the vehicle and that the four men said they were smuggling cow meat by paying a bribe of Rs 3 lakh to the police.
