About a year and a half back,Mira Gulati launched her high-end jewellery brand Mirari,with actor Vidya Balan in tow,to give Delhiites a taste of what the rich and the famous like. Gulati has now roped in sitarist Anoushka Shankar as the brand ambassador. “I wanted someone who was much more than just a model or an actor to represent our work,someone who represents the best that India can offer to the world,” says Gulati. Will Shankar be able to strum up some magic even in these difficult economic times and tempt customers? That is the glimmer of hope.
