While bhaanja Imran Khan has been packed off to Delhi to whip more publicity for Aamir Khan Productions’ next,Delhi Belly,maamu Aamir Khan is holding fort in Mumbai. The actor,who goes all-out every time his films near release,has been organising,on an average,two media events every week around Delhi Belly,which is produced by Aamir Khan Productions.

Overexposure could be the reason why a promotional event in Mumbai on Thursday,scheduled to unveil Aamir’s first item number,didn’t find many takers. The actor,who reached the venue on time,chose to stay holed up in his suite until ample janta had gathered. However,for the few who did make it to the event,Aamir ensured that the wait was worth their while. The video of the peppy number from Delhi Belly — I Hate You (Like I Love You) — has Aamir sporting an Elvis Presley-meets-Mithun Chakraborty look as he does pelvic thrusting. Anusha Dandekar grooves too,to the retro tune.

“It is a tribute to the disco era,” Aamir said. The actor’s nearly unbuttoned shirt in the video reveals an extremely hairy chest,which the actor says he has “borrowed from Anil Kapoor”. Choreographed by Bosco of Bosco-Caesar and styled by Niharika Khan,it has been directed by Abhinay Deo and not Kiran Rao,as was being speculated. The star producer,who has been shedding inhibitions lately,performed his

now famous pelvic thrust for the audience as

a parting shot.
