59,000 apply to MCD schools

Chairman of the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) Education Committee Dr Mahinder Nagpal said on Friday that the civic body has received 59,005 applications in response to an advertisement for the post of 1600 primary teachers. The selection process is fully computerised,he said,adding that this was done to make it more transparent and fair. He also said that merit list would be prepared soon,and the results would be declared within 10 days on MCD’s website http://www.mcdonline.gov.in.
