23-year-old man stabbed to death

The police said Jafeer was allegedly killed by Sarwesh and Babu,alias Bandar,when he was alone in the B1 block area in Swaroop Nagar. “During investigations,it came to light that Jafeer had an affair with the wife of one of the accused,and with the sister of the other. Last night,when he was under the influence of alcohol,they stabbed him in the neck,” the officer said.

Jafeer used to work as a scooter mechanic at his brother Zameer’s shop in the Nizamuddin area. The accused work in private companies and all three lived in the Swaroop Nagar area.

The police said they are trying to trace Sarwesh and Babu who are at large since the incident. Statements are being taken from the victim’s family . A case has been registered against the two accused at the Swaroop Nagar police station.
