2 cartridges found on Modern campus

School principal Lata Vaidyanathan informed police on Friday that an employee had found the cartridges while he was sweeping the premises in the morning.

“Prima facie,the cartridges appear to be that of .22 bore. The cartridges have been sent for forensic examination,and investigation is on to find out how it landed in the school’s premises,” a senior police officer said.

A police team searched the entire premises to check for more cartridges.

A case under the Arms Act has been registered with the Barakhamba police.
