Sonnet Club reach Quarters

An unbeaten half century by man of the match Yash Sehrawat (55n.o.)helped Sonnet Club beat MRV Academy Dwarka by 7 Wicket and enter the Quarter-finals of the 4th edition of Peacock cricket tournament at Gargi College ground. MRV academy scored 149 for 9 in 35 overs with a 36 run contribution by Lalit Yadav. Sonnet Club reached the target in 28 overs with the loss of 3 wickets.

Sahil warriors win

Gaurav Dhayani (78 no and 2/22) produced a fine all round display and he was ably supported by Dipanshu Raghav (52 no and 3/25) as Sahil Warriors beat Kalka Cricket Academy by 4 wickets. The win helped them gain four point in the 2nd edition of S.M. U-13 cricket tournament at JMC Ground.

Jangra scores century

Arvind Jangra scored an unbeaten century (110 run n.o),Anil Rawat contributed a useful half century (55) and Ashish Shokeen (3/18) and Aman Bisht (3/18) took three wickets apiece as Agrim Sports edged past Harry Academy by a slim margin of 20 runs. In the process they collected four point in the Nirmal Premier League Cricket tournament being held at Rajesh Sharma Sports Complex. Pankul Sharma effort of 4/22 was in vain.

Bal Bhawan Dwarka defeated West Delhi Academy by 6 wickets in a one sided match at Bal Bhawan School Dwarka. Rajat Gaur top scored with 69 runs,Sandeep Saini snared three wickets (3/20) while Gupil Rai chipped in with a vital 29 as Bal Bhawan Dwarka got four points in Bal Bhawan Premier League cricket tournament being held at Bal Bhawan School Dwarka.

Suraj snares four

Suraj delivered a crucial spell snaring four wickets (4/21) against Vidya Jain Academy to take Mont Fort to a 4 wicket win in the OM Sharma Memorial cricket tournament being held at Mont Fort School,Ashok Vihar. Ruchit complimented him with a significant contribution from the bat remaining unbeaten on 45.

Pusa Youngster come good

Strong batting show by Neeraj Kumar and 44 ,Mayank Nigam 24 no helped Pusa Youngsters beat Mohan Meakins by 4 wicket and get four point in DDCA League. Hitesh Anand’s century (100) went in vain for the losers.

BDM Sport beat DDCA

A matchwinning contributions by Rameez Nemat (91),paved the way and he was helped by suitable efforts from Amardeep Sonkar (52) and Ravindra Bhola (3/27) as BDM Sports managed to edge past a star studded DDCA outfit by 5 runs in the 5th East Delhi Cup Day-Night 20-20 cricket tournament at DDA Ground Laxmi Nagar.

Delhi girl in national squad

Shilpi Gupta has been selected as part of the Indian senior womens team. Shilpi a right handed middle order batswoman and leg spin bowler is a student of Kamala Nehru College,Delhi University. She has represented Delhi and North Zone teams in the U-19 level.
