Youth Akali Dal trying to copy my Nav Inquilab Yatra: Bittu

In the season of yatras,the Youth Akali Dal has just added its own. Reacting to SAD MLA Bikram Singh Majithia’s yatra,Punjab Youth Congress president Ravneet Bittu said on Wednesday the success of his Nav Inquilab Yatra had led to Majithia replicating his ongoing yatra. The Youth Congress leader also suggested a new slogan for Majithia’s campaign. “‘Youth Akali Dal da eho nara,khushal hove Punjab sara’ should be “Youth Akali Dal da eho nara,khushal hove Badal parivaar sara’,” he said. “Instead of thinking about the youth of Punjab,Majithia should think and concentrate on his own constituency and eradicate drug addiction in Majitha first. How can he claim to start drug addiction awareness campaign when everybody knows that drug peddlers are working with the blessings of their political bosses and the police,” Bittu said in a press statement.

‘Manpreet used subsidies for his own farm?’
Patiala: Shiromani Akali Dal general secretary Prem Singh Chandumajra lashed out at ousted finance minister Manpreet Singh Badal for adopting double standards with regard to subsidies. He charged Manpreet with taking away government subsidies to the tune of Rs 19 lakh for kinnow packaging at his farm,against his policy of doing away with subsidies. “If Manpreet was against subsidies,why did he himself use them?” Chandumajra said.
