Singer and actor Gurdas Maan will be honored with a Doctorate in World Music from The University of Wolverhampton on September 7 in the United Kingdom. “I am touched by this recognition and will continue entertaining my audience as always,” he said. Mann is being awarded the Doctorate for recognition of his lifelong career in music,promotion of Asian music and traditions and the nurturing of his natural talent.

Mann is also going to perform live at The Royal Albert Hall in April,2011 in a special show organized by the UK Box Office. “I am honored that I have been given this opportunity to perform at this landmark,” says Mann.
