Traffic cops book 57 for drunk driving

Chandigarh Traffic Police on Friday night launched a special drive against traffic violators. A total of 180 traffic offenders were challaned for violating traffic norms of which 57 were booked on charges of drunken driving. The police booked 94 people on several traffic violations and impounded five vehicles. During the drive,the police collected Rs 19,400 as penalty form various offenders. The drive is set to continue.
