IPL DC Team 2026 Players List: After finishing the 2025 Indian Premier League (IPL) season just outside the playoffs spot despite starting well before losing their way eventually, Delhi Capitals made 2 purchases in the IPL 2026 mini auctions as they snapped up South Africa big hitter David Miller and England’s Ben Duckett.
They have released their vice-captain Faf du Plessis who will take no part in this season’s edition, opting instead to play the Pakistan Super League as well as big hitter Jake Fraser-McGurk who failed to fire last season. They will be in the lookout for an Indian opener to partner KL Rahul and also an overseas all-rounder who is a capable finisher.
With Mitchell Starc and T Natarajan in their ranks, the only hole they need to plug in their seam attack is to buy an Indian pacer. They also might go for Jonny Bairstow but will face stiff competition from the Kolkata Knight Riders who will also be on the lookout for a wicketkeeper-batter. If DC doesn’t get him, they might go Tim Seifert or Jamie Smith. The only department that they look totally assured is the spin bowling department with Kuldeep Yadav and captain Axar Patel leading the way.
