Chandigarh:A girl lost her mobile phone and important documents after a man on a motorcycle snatched her bag. The incident occurred near the Sector 51 crossing when the girl was riding on a cycle rickshaw and a man on a black motorbike approached her from the same direction and sped away with her handbag. A case has been registered at the Sector 34 police station,but no arrests have been made yet.

Ex-Rotary Intl prez visits Chandigarh

Chandigarh:Nearly 500 Rotarians from across the country gathered here yesterday at Hotel JW Marriott to felicitate immediate past world president of Rotary International,Kalyan Banerjee,who was the third Indian to have held the position.
