Irresponsible batting let Black Elephant Cricket Club down as they lost to Sunshine School Rohtak by eight wickets in the final,thus letting the Rohtak outfit win the CSF Cup that concluded at Military ground on Monday.
Electing to bat first after winning the toss,BE skipper was soon cursing his decision when the entire team was bowled out for a paltry total of 90 runs. Jashanpreet Singh was the only batsman to show some resistance as he top scored with 30 runs. Paras was the most successful bowler for the Rohtak team with 3 for 23,while Sagar picked up two wickets for 19. In reply,the Rohtak boys achieved the target in just 17.3 overs with eight wickets to spare. Adarsh remained unbeaten on 35 runs to steer his team towards victory.
