Sukhman sets new record

Sukhman Kaur of Tagore House set a new record of 3.32 metre in broad jump in the Under-12 girls category during the first day of the Annual Athletic Meet held at Yadavindra Public School on Monday.

Harkiran Nain of Tagore House won the Under-19 broad jump event in the girls category with 3.63 metre,while Agampreet of Patiala House was in tow with 3.57 metre. Meanwhile,Tanuj Thakur of Aitchison House raced to glory in the boys Under-19 category 100 metre event with 5.18.27 minute. Ranbir Gill of Nalagarh House and Taramdeep Singh of Patiala House claimed the second and third spot with 5.27.79 and 5.27.89 metre,respectively.
