Student kills self over poor result

A teenager,Gautam Kumar,today committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Sector 15.

A teenager,Gautam Kumar,today committed suicide by hanging himself at his residence in Sector 15. Son of a private contractor,Gautam,left a note stating that he was taking this extreme step because he was unable to achieve his goals.

Student of Government Model Senior Secondary,Sector 16,he was a student of twelfth standard,in medical stream. The bright student wrote that he is killing himself because he is unable to achieve desired results.

He has also written that his organs be donated. Gautam committed suicide by hanging himself with a dupatta in his study room on the top floor of his house.

When Gautam did not come down to have food,his family members went upstairs and broke the door. Gautam was rushed to PGI where he was declared brought dead.

The exams were to take place next month. It seems he committed suicide because he was unhappy with his performance, said a police officer. Gautams family members said that he was a bright student and had always done well in academics.
