More than a wrong diet,stress is causing health problems commonly prevalent among people these days. Medicines are not the ultimate and only solution to problems that can be cured following easy steps and adding these as a part of your normal routine, said Dr Girish Patel,a psychotherapist expert from Mumbai.
While talking to Newsline ,Dr Girish Patel said he aimed at motivating people to heal themselves by believing that health in your own hands. It is not difficult to persuade people to follow a simple regime in their life once they are convinced with the logic behind it, said Dr Patel.
Further talking about health problems,Dr Patel said his entire therapy was based on seven steps. These included knowledge,releasing stress,following exercise,proper diet,using the mind to heal through visualisation,minimum medicines as per needs and no addiction.
Most lifestyle diseases today are a result of relationship problems and depression. Spirituality can be used as a mode to attain good health. If not all steps,one can keep healthy by following only three important ones avoiding stress,a proper workout and diet, added Dr Patel. He was invited by the Brahmkumaris at Rayoga Bhawan,Sector 33,Chandigarh,to address a counselling session.
