St Kabir and St Xavier’s in final

Hosts St Kabir Public School,Sector 26 will meet St Xavier’s School,Sector 44-C in the final of the ICSE Chandigarh Region Basketball Tournament for girls on Tuesday at St Kabir School courts. Both teams were finalists in the last edition. St Kabir defeated Little Flower Convent of Panchkula by 34-19. Rupandeep and Shreya were the winners’ main contributors with 14 and 9 points,respectively. St Xavier’s School outpointed St Xavier’s School of Panchkula by 16-9. Founder Director of St Kabir JP Singh inaugurated the tournament in which St Stephen’s School,St Xaviers’ Panchkula,St Xavier’s Chandigarh,Saupin’s School Panchkula,Little Flower Convent Panchkula and St Kabir are taking part in the two-day tournament. St Kabir and Xavier’s were given bye in the first round.
