Special sanitation drives to be conducted in UT

Sanitation Committee of the Municipal Corporation decided on Friday that special sanitation drives will be conducted in Bapudham and Dadumajra next week. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of H C Kalyan.

The committee members decided that procurement of different types of tyres,tubes and flappers will be done. Approval was also accorded to issuance of cash to safaikarmacharis instead of procurement of jaggery. The members were of the view that after producing a bill to the department the safaikarmacharis will be reimbursed. The members observed that the Committee will meet twice a month. It was also decided that a meeting of all the sanitary inspectors,sanitary inspectors and supervisors will be held to improve the sanitation system in the city.
