Enjoying every bit of comfort in the city she grew up in,actor Yaami Gautam looked stunning in a pair of bright trousers and a denim shirt as she joined in a group of bhangra dancers who welcomed her here on Monday. “It’s great to rediscover your own city, and I packed in a lot — revisiting Sector 17 and Sukhna lake, and my favourite places to eat,” said Gautam, who was in Chandigarh for ‘Stars in the City’ by UTV Stars. As part of the activity, the channel takes Bollywood stars to meet their fans in different cities and this time around, hosted Gautam in her hometown . “I travel all over the world but there’s no place like home, especially a city as beautiful and organised like Chandigarh,” said the Vicky Donor actor. Movies just happened, said Gautam, and now she loves every moment of her time in Mumbai despite the high pressure, unlike the chilled years she spent in Chandigarh. Between travelling, shooting and ad campaigns,Gautam says she chooses to do movies that she can connect with, and believes in giving her best shot, with constant motivation from her mother. Gautam will soon be seen in Aman Ki Asha opposite Ali Zafar, where she plays a Punjabi NRI girl.
