“I’ve recorded his album in London,Dubai and Mumbai,” tells Sophie,who is also the executive producer of her own album. And in this,she has collaborated with Rishi Rich,Biddu,Bappa Lahiri and Gourov Dasgupta who gave the music for Aa Dekhen Zara. “The album has young,feel good Hindi dance numbers,hip hop style,Arabic,even an electro-dance English number,” she adds. According to her,each song is an original and this album truly represents her unique style. “It carries my spirit and soul as an artist and is a testimony to my growth since my last album,” Sophie feels that SOS is her best album to date. “It’s the kind of album you would love to dance to,listen to in the car and yet it’s girly,has songs about love,heart-break and emotions which are completely relatable. Be it the rock ballad ‘Mohabbat’ by Gourov,the electro vibe Pump it Up by Bappa Lahiri,the Arabic sounding Tu Nahin recreated by Biddu or the songs by Rishi Rich,this album caters to various musical tastes but above reflects my own personal musical style.”
